Ended a crazy month of travel crammed into work in Big Sur to celebrate @coreindustries birthday thanx to @larabgood + @chadpic … as always California nature inspires me endlessly in all the ways; my 40s self is amused by earlier versions of me that couldn’t be troubled by nature beyond Central Park. @airstream_inc camping has become my favorite way to travel and I’m grateful to get to explore our beautiful country this way🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🛻🌲and for all the beautiful design it inspires💛✨

As usual, my subconscious is way ahead of me…not surprised to find that the @acehotelbrooklyn I booked (a month before seeing the Cali house) designed by @rwguild had all the right inspo for our new place🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮

Been thinking about @tavernatony for weeks 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷and was thrilled to be back here with the fam …loving their new look so much; elegant, simple and warm, the place felt completely transformed 💙🤍💙🤍

Simplicity and solid design brings me the most calm…so worth staying with @hoteljunemalibu this weekend, I slept like a 👶🏼 and left inspired

Got to see our bud Lenny again and talk shop with @stugastudio … some major tile moments happening at our hotel too @carpenterhotel , kind of loving big grout joints lately (watch out @coreindustries 😏)

Well this was a whole vibe…perfect dinner with a lot of gorgeous tile…hope to visit again next time we’re in Hill Country 💋💋💋✨

It’s a vibe that never gets old to me…I got to tour the @acehotelpalmsprings designed by @communedesign 🫠🫠🫠🫠 right after their soft opening in 2010 … I credit all my time spent out there to my “interior awakening” if you will and never tire of revisiting. She’s holding up nicely🙏🏻🌵🔮and I always feel at home there.

We’ll be crashing here next time @coreindustries @thewymanhotel … great mix of color and pattern🥰

Vintage fonts, ice cream and a parking lot dance party; all in a speedy weekend trip to winterize our camper in Utah (so we can travel west of the Rockies in winter). Crazy right?!? It totally IS but so worth it 💪🏻🕺🏼🍦🗺…especially when you stumble on a gem like this💓

Plotting my next escape with @coreindustries … barely 5 weeks home and we’re missing the road something fierce. Lots of work to make these trips a reality but the rewards are ♾♾♾

Making lemons into lemonade daily🍋…our spot in Marfa booked out early so heading back to Austin for Spring Break! So many good things happening in the @hotelmagdalena lobby I don’t know where to begin…those lucite upholstered chairs really are #swoonworthy though … design by @lakeflato @bunkhousehotels

So many quirky spots on the way to @campaltezza … love this hand painted sign at The Knotty Pine, reminds me of Coney Island…and oddly enough there is a cafe just down the road named after our fave spot ( @coreindustries proposed 🎡there) that is shaped like a gigantic HOTDOG🌭)…another reason to take 285 to Alma!
