There are a few things you should probably know before you invite me into your house. I’ll ask an unreasonable number of questions, get emotionally attached to the one architectural detail everyone else wants to rip out, and occasionally describe a paint color as “trying too hard.” I also have opinions, and I’m not particularly good at pretending I love something when I think we can do better. (I mean, that’s kind of what you’re hiring me for.)
But here’s the thing. I’m not interested in making your house look like mine. I want to understand who you are, how you live, and what makes you tick, then figure out how to bring all of that together with the architecture to create something layered, personal, and entirely your own. Preferably with a few laughs along the way.
