A bedroom arranged for play and rest

Bedroom Design

5 January 2021

Kids rooms are by far my favorite to create and arguably the most challenging; they’re often multipurpose (play, homework, shared with a sibling) and you’ve got more opinions to deal with (my daughter is still angry that I won’t paint her room pink!). Ultimately the room evolves with your child and reflects their unique personality and interests (while making sense in the overall scheme of your home). This room is feeling really empty today as she finally gets to attend in person kindergarten and my Mama heart may never recover💔 (there were tears this morning and they weren’t hers😭). As frustrating as Covid has been it’s given me more precious time with her and I’ll cherish that forever. This photo brought to you with a little help from my old friend @bethanynauert who is about to have a seriously baller 2021👊🏻💍🌴📸
