A kitchen peninsula that hides everyday storage

I cannot tell you often people ask how I keep such a minimal aesthetic with kids. The truth is that I’m really good at hiding stuff. Like REALLY good (ask my husband)🤭

I love cabinets and credenzas and drawers and baskets...originally this room was divided by a huge red wall and narrow doorway; we removed the wall but kept the peninsula shape where I designed 8 huge drawers that face the dining room. They contain a hilarious mixture of legos, @pvolve equipment, dollhouse supplies and cake stands🥳 “after” photo by @nataliepigliacampo for @stugastudio
