A pastel tree with a felted wool skirt

Interior Styling

22 December 2020

I’m not ready for Xmas to be over! This tree is a great example of being true to what you love (which can change!); for the past 3 years I’ve been using a tree that was purchased for my LA house where I had a very different aesthetic happening. It was fine but I didn’t love it or feel like it actually worked in my current space. I spent about $150 (tree + some new lights) and swapped some decorations from my daughter’s tree to create this confection 🍥🍘🍭🍦🍬🍧. It’s important to strike a balance between pieces you can use for years and some fresh bits that spark joy; you can repurpose or sell anything that’s not working (hi @facebookmarketplace rabbit hole 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️) who’s not ready to move past Christmas this year?
