Roadside lettering against a clear blue sky
My favorite part of road trips (like y’all didn’t know)…one of the prettiest I’ve seen to date and yeah, we had ice cream🍦🍒…so many surprises in Alamogordo…and this faded pastel palette is 🎀🥣🤍
Maximalist color at Meow Wolf
Finished off 2021 with some fresh inspo @meow__wolf that coincidentally ties in quite nicely to one of my current projects. I’m sad to have my babies back at school but excited for all that’s to come this year 💪🏻✨🛋🗺

When you stay with @campaltezza you’ll get to experience many of the beautiful products curated by @shopjonesandco AND purchase them onsite or have them sent directly to your home (like their organic cotton waffle robe in a color I’m calling Salted Caramel)…stay tuned for more details and images in the upcoming weeks👯♀️
A simple facade with a bright red accent
Headed to Texas tomorrow to kick off a killer project for Miss @harpersmithphoto … see you soon Amarillo, Waco, Round Top and Austin (always a hot topic around here @coreindustries ) 🛻🌵🧳
Color and character at Coney Island
Stuff of my dreams…an crumbling amusement park; what would I give to fix up a place like this and restore it to its original glory?!? Loving this pink tile and all the signage😍 #fontasm !!!🎡🎢🎠
Artwork and a blue banquette outdoors
Not a bad temporary office … doesn’t feel like a Monday here 🤍… may need to encourage more clients to let me incorporate paintings into their outdoor spaces ;)
Plant-filled inspiration at Terracotta
We’ve got some really special spots in Boulder… 🪴🌵🌿 @topterracotta ‘s new location next to my friends @shopjonesandco is giving me so much life (their ☕️ is 😍 too) … a house is not a home in my book without a heavy dose of living greens
Pink accents and bold letters at the Sands Motel
2021 is pretty filled up with projects but feelin’ like the universe will send me a Motel in 2022🙋🏼♀️…how about these colors tho?!…and the dude that was cool with being in my photo? This 💩 never fails to inspire me and feed my soul.
A vintage Wrangler sign in Cheyenne
Well that shot alone was worth coming here (there may have been a few @wrangler purchases). Exploring Cheyenne for a couple of days before work gets crazy and it’s gorgeous around here. So much to see in Wyoming but summer is short and we may have to wait until another long winter passes before we can go deeper into the state. For now I’m thrilled to be camping on a Bison Ranch with the fam, checking out museums, old trains, sunsets and pulling over every 5 minutes to shoot vintage signage (just like the good ol’ days with @coreindustries )…
Warm arches and buffalo plaid at Clerks Coffee
Making my @secondstatecoffee this morning pretending I was back at @clerkscoffeeco … every detail here is perfection, my faves being the Buffalo plaid, custom wood windows, arches and the dining chairs which were part of an early design of mine for MM (sadly the direction changed and we weren’t able to use them but they’re bookmarked in my mind) so ok I love it all😜🙋🏼♀️…this space is part of the @hotelemeline please tag the actual designer or team if you know it!
Modernist forms in Columbus, Indiana
We got to stop for lunch in Columbus IN and it was so fascinating! My brother told us about this special enclave of mid-century design and once we read about it we had to make the half hour detour; from the @nytimes “It’s a company town with a twist: It has an unusual depth of remarkable modern, postmodern and contemporary architecture, making it one of America’s most design-sophisticated communities. The Saturday Evening Post once called Columbus “Athens on the prairie” for its dozens of notable buildings, particularly by the Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen (including the strikingly spire-topped North Christian Church, 1964) and his father, Eliel Saarinen (the blocky-but-ethereal First Christian Church, 1942). Later contributions have come from Robert Venturi, I. M. Pei and Richard Meier, among others.”
Typography and texture at Hamilton Wood Type
We’ve been known to take some pretty serious detours or even entire trips in search of incredible fonts (hi @hatchshowprint and Route 66) but this time @coreindustries and I completely stumbled upon the most incredible museum for wood type 5 minutes from our campsite! The photos don’t do it justice and we may have left with several new pieces for the house and cabin😬… @hamiltonwoodtype is a MUST SEE for all graphic design nerds 🖤 or anyone searching for a statement piece in their home✔️
Blush pink and green at Little Palm
“My colors are blush and bashful” (comment below if you know the film)💕…more yummy pink inspo from Little Palm 🌴at the @theryderhotel … something tells me team behind this space and I would get along real well😉(please tag if you know who’s responsible for designing this beauty @davidsonhospitality ) …all the details are very au courant - - update! @littlepalmbar was designed by @cortneybishopdesign 💕💕💕major fangirl-ing over here🤩🤩🤩
Deep teal in a Charleston hotel
Been a crazy long time since I had a co-work day with this guy @coreindustries … he looks pretty good against these deep moody colors too🖤🖤🖤now I just need a historic city home to explore all my dark design dreams!
Ideas from the Hotel Emeline lobby
Woke up in this dreamy place @hotelemeline … all of my design boxes are checked ☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️and I’m so in love with every detail of the property.
Color-dipped cutting boards at Modern Market
Flashback to one of my favorite projects, a 128 square foot cutting board installation for Modern Market in Plano, TX. I was asked to figure out what to do with a blank wall in a store I didn’t design and had never seen in person. Not everyone loved the concept at first but I pushed pretty hard and still love the way it turned out (@modernmarket did too in the end😂💛!!). This was a true labor of love on my part (I had to beg @coreindustries to assist me in the priming phase) but another example of never letting go of your vision and trusting your instincts 💕
Handmade shelving and thoughtful styling in Taos
I’m so predictable...found my spot in Taos @peopleofthevalley.taos ... the designer in me loves these handmade suspended shelves and my stylist side is obsessed with their perfect mix of curated vintage and brands like @lindseythornburg
