Grateful and honored to attend the most incredible talk with @jrummerfield @saveiconicarchitecture + @indiahicksstyle to discuss her latest book, Lady Pamela, while getting an up close and personal look at the restoration and redesign of the @bhwc90210 by Jaime’s eponymous firm. I learned so much from India’s beautiful storytelling about her parents lives and the ideals that shaped them while absorbing the storied architecture and history of the space. Only in LA could this magical experience exist and I left fully inspired and with a new friend @erinkaneinteriordesign 🩷

A little “pinch me” moment, gathering to celebrate the beautiful work of @leonardo_e_marmol last week at @charlesarnoldistudio with @artseenla + @roxiestories 🎨 as if Mr. Marmol hasn’t impressed us all enough with his architecture and design work via @marmolradziner he just so happens to be an incredible painter. A true privilege to meet him and learn about his work and approach first hand🙏🏻followed by a gorgeous dinner at @felixlosangeles ✨ The show is closing Sunday and the gallery is hosting an open house from 12-3, March 1st, don’t miss it!⌛️

We need this organization now more than ever in the wake of the fires and as important pieces of our Los Angeles history are endangered! Check out their @newcaliforniaclassics catalog which provides a fantastic breakdown of defining architectural styles of CA. Grateful to get up close and personal with so much beautiful design this weekend and meet new friends! Thank you @russ.diamond.sd @mattwold1 @eric_warfield for your hospitality 🪩🤍✨and thoughtfulness. Our love for @concretecollaborative is no secret, they are one of our favorite vendors for a myriad of reasons. What an honor to be invited with our fellow designers to visit @katietoosh ‘s + @balsisc ‘s personal home filled with concrete, terrazzo, color and LOVE. A fully lived life with three active boys is a testament to the durability of their products and nothing inspires us more than people doing what they love in life and at home. Thank to the entire @concretecollaborative family for hosting this beautiful event a testament to SoCal living and #dopamine design.

We were feeling a little stuck on a project, so I stopped by the @cosentinocitylosangeles showroom to see if anything might spark a fresh direction. Éclos did exactly that. It has that layered natural look so many homeowners are drawn to, but without the level of maintenance that often comes with real stone, which many prefer to avoid. Knowing it’s made with a high amount of recycled material is also very appealing. I left with ideas I’m really excited about and can’t wait to share with my client. Their team is always so helpful with samples and product education, which makes me feel confident specifying the material.

Been catching up on @convoxdesign as we approach @westedgedesign next week - really LOVED Josh’s interview with THE @cortneynovogratz and I’ll share a little #fangirlmoment ; last @highpointmarket I attended @pookylights launch party for their @thenovogratz collab. I was one of the first to arrive and could have easily said hello to the inspiring Lady but I was completely star struck and opted not to approach🤦🏼‍♀️…Guys, it’s SO hard showing up to a party alone and just crashing other people’s conversations (although I did interrupt a Frederic editor that was kind enough to chat with me for a bit)…suffice it to say, she is a total inspiration and the collection is beautiful; listen to her great chat with Mr. OG design podcast asap! Next time I’ll be more brave!
