The saga of @campaltezza continues…our contractor hasn’t been able to make any progress for a variety of reasons so @coreindustries is pulling double duty; zoom calls from Nova in the crazy steep driveway by day and construction by night while I hold down the home front and dig my way out of delayed work … imagine how cute she’ll be painted black with a nice silver roof? Never a dull moment around here folks 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 how are your summer projects going?

Mini cabin reveal; the spiral staircase! The original was very rickety and didn’t add much to my “Modern Swedish Seventies Earthy Chalet” vibe (see last slide). It also had some very strange homemade rails up top that turned 1/3 of the upper floor unusable so we’ll be adding in some glass railings to make it safer and save visual space. Are you starting to see the vision?

Checked on the cabin over the weekend; progress is still slow but starting to see the light. Hoping the floors get installed next week, appliances and cabinets still delayed, new spiral stairs are mostly done and wood stove is sitting on the ground instead of a crazy platform (huge trip hazard gone!). Baby steps🤍🤍🤍
