At Amy Pigliacampo Interiors, we build the design around what you love and how you live. Our full-service interior design work in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and Calabasas includes renovations and select new builds, from the layout and cabinetry to the furniture, lighting, and last few things that make a room feel like yours.
Start with what you love
Show us the things you’re attached to, even the ones you can’t quite explain. Tell us where everyone piles in, which room you avoid, and what you wish your mornings felt like. Those details give us much more to work with than a picture of a perfect room.
Then we work through the decisions that bring it together: space planning, kitchen and bathroom design, custom cabinetry, finishes, decorative lighting, furniture, rugs, window treatments, art placement, and final styling. We collaborate with your architect, general contractor, and craftspeople as the project requires. There’s plenty of practical work behind a room you fall in love with.

Give every room its own point of view
We love a home where the rooms speak to each other and still have their own personality. A curve in the furniture, a color picked up in another room, the way wood sits against stone—those relationships matter. So does being able to cook while someone tells you about their day, or find a quiet corner when you’ve had enough togetherness.

In Calabasas, as everywhere we work, we want to know which spaces bring you together and where you go to recharge. That helps us shape everything from kitchen cabinetry and bathroom finishes to the scale of a rug or the feel of a curtain. The whole home gets our attention.
The good ideas need a plan
First, we talk about your home, what you want to change, your anticipated investment, and timing. Then we establish the scope, develop the design, and work through the details with you and your team. Depending on the agreed scope, full-service work can continue through sourcing, site visits, installation, and styling. There are a lot of decisions. We help you see how they fit together.
Can kitchens and bathrooms be part of the home design?
Absolutely. Kitchen and bathroom design can be part of a renovation or new-build scope. We look at these rooms alongside the rest of the home, so the cabinetry, tile, fixtures, and lighting have a relationship to what’s around them.
Do you work with existing furnishings?
Yes—tell us what you love before you assume it has to go. A favorite chair, an existing collection, or a piece of art can give the design a wonderful place to begin. We work out what fits and what else the room needs.
