For Architects, Builders & Trade Partners
Great design is a team effort. At API, we value working relationships with architects, builders, contractors and craftspeople who share our commitment to thoughtful design and exceptional execution. As a boutique interior design studio, we bring creative vision, detailed planning and a collaborative approach to residential renovations, new construction and select commercial and hospitality projects.
What We Bring to the Project
We lead the interior design process, from space planning, finishes, cabinetry and lighting to furnishings, FF&E and procurement. Working directly with our clients, we establish a cohesive design direction and communicate it through concept presentations, floor plans, elevations, custom illustrations and detailed specifications. These tools help clients make confident decisions while giving the project team clear direction for estimating, coordination and execution.
Working Together
We collaborate closely with architects, builders and trades to clarify design intent, resolve details and keep decisions moving. Our goal is to complement the architecture, support the construction process and create interiors where every element feels connected, from the architectural finishes to the final styling layers.
Projects We Love
Our work includes whole-home renovations, new construction, kitchen and bathroom design, and boutique commercial and hospitality spaces. Based in Los Angeles, we work throughout Southern California and on select projects nationwide, with experience in Colorado, New York, North Carolina and Texas.
Let's Collaborate
We believe the best projects come from strong relationships, open communication and mutual respect. We'd love to connect and explore how we can contribute to your next project.
