The Capitol department store facade
This was my Gramma Hazel's favorite store. It saddens me that so many regional department stores no longer exist.
Vintage record art against rainbow stripes
My holiday tradition...we've been listening to the record all month and watched the movie yesterday...Marlowe seemed pretty into it, particularly the Lonely Goatherd scene.
A blue fashion vignette in a holiday window
I miss NYC the most during the holidays...Beverly Hills just doesn't quite have the street energy as Fifth Avenue but @Saks windows were still enjoyable
Handmade felt gingerbread ornaments
Favorite ornaments...this gingerbread couple was made by @aletapigliacampo 35 years ago and still look brand new!
Graphic gift wrapping and small illustrated books

Mirrored sconces inside EastWest Studios
Pretty exciting field trip to @eastweststudios today with the Babe. You may be familiar with some of the tunes recorded here by little known artists such as Frank Sinatra, the Beach Boys and my personal favorite, the Mamas and the Papas...WHAT?!? I love this town so much. (check out their website for some insane history and a documentary)
The vintage ice skating sign in Culver City
After 52 years, this Culver City fixture had to shut down last February. What will become of it's wonderful signage?!

A modern farmhouse facade in Venice
The "modern farmhouse" is getting a lot of play in Venice right now...
Nursery shelves with color, globes and patterned cushions
These @ikeausa shelves have had so many lives...handbag display at my old company...room divider in my first loft with @coreindustries ...now going strong in Marlowe's 2nd room, securely belted to the walls lest she decide to start climbing them.
