Collected City Home

Sculptural furniture and expressive pattern.

A curved teal sofa, red upholstery, and patterned walls set the direction for this home. We balanced saturated color with quieter materials and a consistent attention to proportion.

The design developed through listening closely to our clients and the pieces they wanted to live with. Their preferences informed the palette, furnishings, and individual character of each room.

Color and pattern in the living spaces

Blue-and-white floral wallpaper provides the backdrop for red upholstery, a purple side table, and a yellow lamp. In the powder room, illustrated wallpaper sits above pale pink tile.

Dining and kitchen

A round wood table and curved chairs sit beneath a brass starburst chandelier. In the kitchen, black-framed glass doors connect the island to the garden.

Hallways and bedrooms

Dark floral wallpaper defines the hallway. In the guest room, blue-and-white toile is paired with a green upholstered headboard and red bedside lamp.

Bedroom palettes

Deep teal walls and green bedding give the primary bedroom a quieter palette. Pink wallpaper and layered textiles distinguish another bedroom.
