A whole-home color scheme
What’s our favorite kind of project? Whole House Remodels! Nothing is more satisfying than taking some tired, dated and usually fifty shades of brown and…
Stuga floors and clean white walls
Quiet, light and bright. The power of @stugastudio wood floors and clean white walls will never not move me. There’s something so grounding about simple…
Collected color in a Park Slope home
Rain in LA always pulls us back to our decade in New York. This Park Slope, Brooklyn home is one we love, an eclectic mix of calm restraint and intentional color. Every project begins with listening. Every home carries a story. We guide our clients through the options so their spaces evolve into something that feels grounded, personal, and completely theirs. Being invited into someone’s home and life is a privilege we never take lightly. If you’re ready to begin, DM us.
Colorful rooms dressed for the holidays
Gave myself permission to go crazy with decorations this year…my kids rooms are colorful and joyful and perfect in their wild layers. We are done with work till next year and will be nesting hard with family at home with lots of lights, food, family, wine and dogs ❤️💚🎄💚❤️
A-frame transformation in the mountains
Always looking for the ugliest house in the best location…getting that itch again because as soon as life starts to feel almost manageable @coreindustries and I like to mix it up. @campaltezza was one of our best collaborations even though it almost killed us mentally, we loved the results, captured here by @davidlauerphoto
Comfort, texture and detail at Rowe
Hi I’m also 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 from California 💁🏼♀️(by way of NC) and I also 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 LOVE this gorgeous piece from @rowefinefurniture with its tambour detail and crazy texture ➡️➡️➡️ (slide 2) Gotta work on my uptalking 🫢Thank you @justingodsey for excellent camera work and I’ll miss seeing all these incredible folks this week in #highpoint !
The final layer makes the photograph
𝑺𝑻𝒀𝑳𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝒊𝒔 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮. You can design homes to perfection but without that final layer of just the right accessories your spaces (and photos) will feel flat. The little details make the biggest difference and we love setting the stage for all of our projects to be completely livable yet magazine worthy. Kids rooms are by far my favorite and we are now obsessed with @nooma_design ‘s amazing work 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️
Natural wool underfoot in a beam-filled bedroom
𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕢𝕦𝕚𝕤𝕙 𝕗𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕠𝕣 𝕚𝕤 𝕙𝕚𝕘𝕙 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕠𝕟𝕖! @enkay has wowed me again with this beauty, Onya, made from 100% natural undyed wool, ethically sourced and hand-knotted. Y’all know I like my colors and patterns and yet I’m so drawn to the simplicity, elegance and feel of this piece (the price point is mind blowing as well, I don’t know how they do it!) and cannot recommend these folks highly enough. Perfect for bedrooms and bare feet☁️🤍🐚 … 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐏𝟏𝟓 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝟏𝟓% before August 15th!
Bedroom inspiration in Good Housekeeping
Pretty excited that 🅣🅦🅞 of our projects are featured in the 𝕄𝕒𝕪/𝕁𝕦𝕟𝕖 issue of @goodhousekeeping magazine (𝑖𝑛 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑡)!!! Much thanx to @coreindustries for photographing our #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn project and @davidlauerphoto for capturing @campaltezza . Grateful to see these in a mag that @southernmimi55 ‘s friends actually know (𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑀𝑜𝑚, 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑘) and more than that, honored to be seen in such an iconic publication.
An unplanned room becomes a favorite
The least planned spaces often become favorites…what a crazy room to sort out! ℙ𝕣𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕪 𝔹𝕖𝕕𝕣𝕠𝕠𝕞 /𝕤𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙/ 𝕄𝕖𝕕𝕚𝕒 /𝕤𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙/ 𝕗𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪 𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕠𝕦𝕥 - the proportions are crazy, the views are epic, you’ll find us here for Movie Night every Friday, Mlo reading in our bed, rocket gazing and breaking all the rules of Feng Shui (our bed is floating so that we fall asleep and wake up to epic canyon scenes). For all the planning that we normally do it’s also fun to let the space tell you how it wants to be over time. My favorite item - - @eternitymodernhome ‘s side table gets the most action, Mama needs her night gallon of cinnamon tea…seriously love how gorgeous this fluted column is and that it cannot be knocked over by rambunctious boys and pups💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
A little joy and whimsy in a bedroom
A little bit of joy and whimsy heading into the weekend…
Creative collaboration in a Brooklyn home
Collaborating with other creatives is one of the most exciting and rewarding parts of our job. Our #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn project pushed us to use color and pattern in the most bold ways and we couldn’t be happier with the results🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜. Which space is your favorite?? 📸 By @coreindustries
Deep bedroom colors in Sunset
Big thank you to @sunsetmag for asking me to opine on design trends for 2024; “We’ll see more dark tones, Amy Pigliacampo of Amy Pigliacampo Interiors says. “Aubergine, navy, deep olive, chocolate brown, dark terracotta… we are seeing this in all forms: upholstery, wood tones, wallpaper, paint, etc. I think everyone just got tired of so much white,” she explains. “The design world is cyclical and any time the pendulum swings light, it’s inevitable that it’s going to head back to the dark side at some point. I think it’s reflective of everyone moving on from COVID; we were home a lot and white felt optimistic, fresh and casual. The world is finding its groove again and that means socializing, going out at night, dressing up, and with that comes the push toward something a bit more dramatic and evocative.” - - our #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn primary bedroom with another stunner from @flavorpaper illustrates this idea perfectly - - but I still always say choose what you love regardless of what’s “in” and “out”.
Camp Altezza in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles
Our @campaltezza project was just published in @coloradohomesmag and we are so thrilled! Big thanks to Alicita Rodriguez for such a great write up and beautiful layout and to @davidlauerphoto @coreindustries and @brandidentitypr …it’s so pretty there this time of year, book your stay, link in bio!
A loft bed makes room to play
Sharing some quick iPhone shots from our shoot last week for @oeufnyc . Their new Perch Nest bed really transformed our small space, opening up lots of extra room to play and hang out. A traditional height bunk bed wouldn’t work because of the ceiling fan so this was the perfect solution (and a bit more safe for a crazy 7 year old monkey). The Nest is by far the most well designed loft/bunk on the market and I’ve looked at them all and bought quite a few (and in case you’re wondering they aren’t paying me to say that, I just really adore the brand and their products; note 2 credenzas by Oeuf under the loft too😂) more pro photos to come soon!
A light-filled room in South Slope
Love how sweet and simple this girl’s room turned out in our #southslopesanctuary project, featured on @apartmenttherapy this week. Located on the 3rd floor, it’s full of light, magical angles and personal touches.
Layered textiles in a Hill Country bedroom
So much editing! Super close to the end, but for now I’ll share this dreamy iPhone pic from our #hillcountryunexpected project for @harpersmithphoto + @cameronduddy … all the yummy textures and this epic bed @sohohome ⭐️✨⚡️💫
A window seat layered with vintage textiles
Sweet moment for a lil’ cowgirl at @harpersmithphoto ‘s Hill Country home…love this mix of vintage textiles, texture and their stunning view🫶🏻
