Silver Lake, where the interiors began
Are #flashbackfridays still a thing? In Silverlake to see my client today and couldn’t help think about how my time in this neighborhood set the stage for the last decade of my design work. Big shoutout to @bethanynauert for wanting to photograph my home for @apartmenttherapy way back in 2012 and literally planting the seeds that would ultimately grow into my pivot from fashion to interiors. My style has evolved quite a bit in 14 years but I still love this home and these photos. What was your style like circa 2012, please share in the comments below!
A Topanga Canyon home in House Beautiful
Thank you @housebeautiful for featuring us in your “Most Popular” story and linking back to the full home feature (see stories for details). We love the constraints that come with remodels and this home has certainly been one of the most challenging projects to date.
A Boulder renovation, before and after
Flashback Friday with a walk down memory lane to one of our favorite projects, a collaboration with @mediumplenty in Boulder Colorado. This one was massive with so many plot twists and turns but the moral of the story is when you have the right eye and vision you can transform a home and ultimately get a great return on your investment. Was so grateful for this feature in @ruemagazine and all of the exposure it brought us💗
Texas interiors in Better Homes & Gardens
Love this beautiful profile featuring our #hillcountryunexpected collab with @harpersmithphoto and @cameronduddy by @kathybarnes for @betterhomesandgardens September issue! Grateful for this gorgeous layout and story! Images by @claire_schaper are tagged, the others are by yours truly 📸 with magical vintage and art direction by @hunterjonesdesign @misshunterjones - - and to think it’s been 𝑻𝑯𝑹𝑬𝑬 years since our Round Top Rendezvous that kicked off this whole crazy adventure
Camp Altezza, transformed
Still can’t believe how much we transformed @campaltezza and how many folks celebrated her redesign ( @dwellmagazine @coloradohomesmag @homesandgardensofficial @interiordesignmag )… we listed the property in June and received an offer at asking price the first day and now she’s got a new owner … a final farewell to our Colorado chapter with many incredible memories🤍💫
A kitchen reimagined beneath original beams
So thrilled to have our place featured on @housebeautiful yesterday! 𝕃𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕚𝕟 𝔹𝕀𝕆 The biggest transformation has got to be the kitchen…from crazy to calm, the improvement is major! What do you think?
Bedroom inspiration in Good Housekeeping
Pretty excited that 🅣🅦🅞 of our projects are featured in the 𝕄𝕒𝕪/𝕁𝕦𝕟𝕖 issue of @goodhousekeeping magazine (𝑖𝑛 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑡)!!! Much thanx to @coreindustries for photographing our #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn project and @davidlauerphoto for capturing @campaltezza . Grateful to see these in a mag that @southernmimi55 ‘s friends actually know (𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑀𝑜𝑚, 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑘) and more than that, honored to be seen in such an iconic publication.
Design at dollhouse scale
🅕🅛🅐🅢🅗🅑🅐🅒🅚 to that time we custom upholstered a miniature couch from a vintage 𝑹𝒂𝒍𝒑𝒉 𝑳𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒏 skirt and @dominomag found it and interviewed us about our “𝕋𝕠𝕡𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕒 𝕊𝕦𝕣𝕗 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕔𝕜" dollhouse. Looks like I manifested the 💩 out if that one @coreindustries 😂😂😂 (just realized how similar that couch is to the one we created with @rowefinefurniture ). The Universe certainly pays attention.💫✨⚡️
Deep bedroom colors in Sunset
Big thank you to @sunsetmag for asking me to opine on design trends for 2024; “We’ll see more dark tones, Amy Pigliacampo of Amy Pigliacampo Interiors says. “Aubergine, navy, deep olive, chocolate brown, dark terracotta… we are seeing this in all forms: upholstery, wood tones, wallpaper, paint, etc. I think everyone just got tired of so much white,” she explains. “The design world is cyclical and any time the pendulum swings light, it’s inevitable that it’s going to head back to the dark side at some point. I think it’s reflective of everyone moving on from COVID; we were home a lot and white felt optimistic, fresh and casual. The world is finding its groove again and that means socializing, going out at night, dressing up, and with that comes the push toward something a bit more dramatic and evocative.” - - our #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn primary bedroom with another stunner from @flavorpaper illustrates this idea perfectly - - but I still always say choose what you love regardless of what’s “in” and “out”.
Botanical wallpaper and a Design Milk feature
Cool little surprise today, my @designmilk interview made their Friday5 Top10 this year! If you wanna get to know me fast, this is THE interview to read; check the link in my bio to review, featuring my #ironicmeetsiconicinbklyn project with lots of @flavorpaper magic
Hill Country interiors in Rue
Just in case you wanted to linger on the images 😘…our #hillcountryunexpected project with @harpersmithphoto (love u!) + @cameronduddy is on newsstands this week! What a crazy ride this one was, culminating in me taking the photos (kitchen + piano shot by @claire_schaper) with phone support by @coreindustries ! Since I’m a total control freak, we usually shoot together with Corey behind the camera but we couldn’t make this one work so 2 weeks before a major MOVE I flew to TX on Mother’s Day and GOT IT DONE (imagine the pressure of taking photos of an amazingly talented pro photographer’s home, Hi Harper 😂)…not sure I’ve ever worked this hard for photos (and I’ve had some intense shoots) but it’s all good because the incredibly awesome @kellilamb_ wanted it for @ruemagazine and my life is complete, Merry Xmas, Happy Birthday ,thank you thank you and bye now💪🏻💥⚡️🔮💫📸🧿❣️
Behind the camera in the Hill Country
Something exciting dropping tomorrow in the Winter Issue of @ruemagazine … our #hillcountryunexpected project with @harpersmithphoto + @cameronduddy where we blurred the lines between photographer and designer; Harper and I played both in the ultimate creative collab. Much thanx to @kellilamb_ for acknowledging this crazy adventure, can’t wait to share my first photography byline and our beautiful work. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Camp Altezza in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles
Our @campaltezza project was just published in @coloradohomesmag and we are so thrilled! Big thanks to Alicita Rodriguez for such a great write up and beautiful layout and to @davidlauerphoto @coreindustries and @brandidentitypr …it’s so pretty there this time of year, book your stay, link in bio!
A light-filled room in South Slope
Love how sweet and simple this girl’s room turned out in our #southslopesanctuary project, featured on @apartmenttherapy this week. Located on the 3rd floor, it’s full of light, magical angles and personal touches.

A walnut kitchen detail in 5280 Home
Many thanx to @5280home for sharing this today “Kitchen design hack: To achieve her vision of walnut cabinetry without breaking the bank, designer Amy Pigliacampo had Fort Collins–based @customclassiccabinetry create grain-matched walnut cabinets for the interior of her U-shaped kitchen and budget-friendly white drawer fronts for the outside of the peninsula.”
A collected living room in House Beautiful
Big thank you to @housebeautiful for including my thoughts on 🌈organizing your books by the RAINBOW🌈 - Interior designer Amy Pigliacampo disagrees, swearing a rainbow is as smart a way to arrange books as any. "My brain organizes everything by ROYGBIV...even my phone apps are organized that way," she says. "If that works for you then it's a great system. If it makes you crazy, it's definitely not for you."
A Boulder renovation in 5280 Home
“Every renovation comes with a setback or two, whether it’s a delayed tile shipment or a plumbing mishap. But one local family had particularly bad luck while revamping their Boulder home: After being struck by lightning, the house’s attic and second story caught fire. The family was unharmed, but the second story and attic required a complete rebuild. Link in bio to read why homeowner/designer @amypigliacampo referred to the incident as “the best thing that could have happened.” - leaving on a high note; so much thanks to @christinedeorio + @5280 for this gorgeous sendoff
