Country in the city
Country in the City…it’s all a random jumble of not quite right furniture but it’s still home. We’ll get it together soon🙃
Making room for children’s art
My “adult” brain would never allow me to make such bold, beautiful and free pieces. I love digging into my clients’ children’s art; when matted and framed they can truly be incredible (and meaningful) additions to a family’s collection. I just discovered these gems while sorting through school folders and I’m inspired and impressed!
Working with what is already there
It won’t look like this forever but for now I’m embracing what’s here (yes those are holes where we pulled out all the sconces 🤪 tbd)
A full-scale look at Reform MATCH
Finally got to see @reformcph ‘s MATCH collection full scale IRL…been obsessed with this material for months now, can’t wait to create something special out of it 💥
A powder room with a point of view
Perfect powder room moment brought to you by @amandalkahle … the power of good paper 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
A week in black-and-white swatches
Coffee + swatches + computer = every day this week😵💫 but progress was made🥱.
A window seat layered with vintage textiles
Sweet moment for a lil’ cowgirl at @harpersmithphoto ‘s Hill Country home…love this mix of vintage textiles, texture and their stunning view🫶🏻

Textiles for a Rowe collaboration
Something very exciting in the works with @rowefinefurniture 🤭…these fabrics are TDF🫠
A collected living room in House Beautiful
Big thank you to @housebeautiful for including my thoughts on 🌈organizing your books by the RAINBOW🌈 - Interior designer Amy Pigliacampo disagrees, swearing a rainbow is as smart a way to arrange books as any. "My brain organizes everything by ROYGBIV...even my phone apps are organized that way," she says. "If that works for you then it's a great system. If it makes you crazy, it's definitely not for you."
The starting point for a Topanga living room
Checking out the canyon with his new monocular (didn’t know that was even a thing but the last owners left it for us!)…this room was deep red until last week and had reed screening between the beams. We removed that and whitewashed the plywood underneath and painted everything my favorite SW7005…can’t wait to finish this space so we can invite friends to hang (also secretly plotting to get my parents here and then refuse to let them leave😉)…what a difference a few strategic changes can make!
Art at the start of a new chapter
I never felt right about hanging this print in Boulder; I mounted it in the pantry above the vacuum and eye level so I wouldn’t think about it too much 🫣…yesterday when the packers were here I walked downstairs to find it front and center🪩…it’s all happening 🪄📦🚚🌴🌊🙏🏻
A Boulder renovation in 5280 Home
“Every renovation comes with a setback or two, whether it’s a delayed tile shipment or a plumbing mishap. But one local family had particularly bad luck while revamping their Boulder home: After being struck by lightning, the house’s attic and second story caught fire. The family was unharmed, but the second story and attic required a complete rebuild. Link in bio to read why homeowner/designer @amypigliacampo referred to the incident as “the best thing that could have happened.” - leaving on a high note; so much thanks to @christinedeorio + @5280 for this gorgeous sendoff
A Hill Country living room comes together
What a crazy path it’s been to get to this stunning moment … grateful for every twist, turn, stall, sprint and for that 3 minutes ten years ago when I met @harpersmithphoto … a chance conversation (I mean, I don’t really believe in coincidence) a wild camping trip in Round Top and me photographing the photographer on the sexiest couch from @eternitymodernhome with the best lamp and terrazzo table from @misshunterjones … this is how we do💫⚡️🔥✨💥
A bathroom wrapped in Jardin Sauvage
Monday Mood…one beautiful paper completely transforms a lower level bathroom 💓🌿🌸🌳…Jardin Sauvage by @mindtgap for @brandybschultz 🫶🏻
Possibility in the framing
It’s been another insane week (and it’s not over yet 😂)…epic scene from this week’s consult with @eastslopeindustries … what he has created here is 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 (this home was destroyed in by the Marshall Fires after Xmas 2021)
Pattern on pattern in Brooklyn
This moment right here…the incredible creatives I get to collaborate with sure make me look good💥…shout-out to @2damncheeky for putting @divinesavages on my radar and @flavorpaper for this extraordinary toile situation
